Pitchfan

Pitchfan

Fibonacci fan

A fanning variant of the pitchfork. Instead of parallel tines, Fibonacci-spaced lines radiate from the pivot through the base — blending median-line and Fibonacci analysis.

Concept

The Pitchfan keeps the three-pivot anchoring of a pitchfork but replaces the with a fan of Fibonacci rays drawn from P0 across the P1–P2 base. Because the rays share a single , the channel narrows near P0 and widens with time — each ray becomes a steepening line of support/resistance whose weight scales with its Fibonacci ratio.

ℹ
Note:Pitchfan = pitchfork geometry (3 pivots) + Fibonacci fan (radiating rays). It can be used anywhere a standard fork would go.

Anatomy

P0P1P2
Fibonacci rays fan from apex (P0) through the P1·P2 base.
Median line Outer tine Inner level Base P1–P2
Apex (P0)
All fan lines originate here.
Base (P1 · P2)
Fibonacci are measured along this segment.
Center ray (0.5)

Outer rays (0 / 1)
Through P1 and P2 — the widest tines.

Construction (3 clicks)

Click the apex P0, then P1 and P2 to define the base; the fan projects forward.
  1. 1
    Set the apex (P0)
The pivot that all rays fan out from.
  2. 2

  3. 3
    Set P2
The other end; the Fibonacci fan projects forward instantly.

How price behaves

0.618 rayP0P1P2
Price rides and rejects individual rays; 0.382 / 0.618 are the strongest zones.
  • Treat each ray as diagonal support/resistance that steepens over time.
  • The 0.5 center ray is the equilibrium — price above biases bullish, below biases bearish.
  • The and 0.618 rays are the -quality .
  • Confluence of a fan ray with a level or horizontal S/R strengthens the signal.
  • Sustained closes beyond the outermost ray (through P1 or P2) signal trend .

Pitchfork vs Pitchfan

Pitchfork
lines — constant channel as time progresses.
Pitchfan
Radiating lines — channel widens with time.
Pitchfan best for
Accelerating/decelerating trends where slope matters more than .
Key rays
/ 0.5 / 0.618 are the most watched Fibonacci levels.

Advanced: line count

Use the Lines stepper (or the Settings gear) to add intermediate rays beyond the default Fibonacci set. Extra rays subdivide the fan into finer — useful on lower timeframes.

★
Pro tip:Watch the and 0.618 rays — reactions there frequently high-quality reversal on any timeframe.

Settings reference

Line count
Increase/decrease the number of fan rays.
Multicolor
Per-ray colors; the center ray (0.5) uses the main color.

Fill
