Risk Management Strategy

Trading without confirmation removes a safety net. Implement these risk controls to protect your account:

  • Start with quantities — use a fraction of your usual position size until you are comfortable with the speed of execution.
  • Set position limits — use exchange-level position size limits or max-order- guards to prevent accidentally over-sized .
  • Review order before each — verify quantity, leverage, and are appropriately configured for current market conditions.
  • Monitor open orders — with no confirmation step, it is easier to forget about placed orders. Keep the open orders visible.
  • Use limit orders in volatile conditions — a market order during low liquidity can slip significantly. Switch to Limit when spreads widen.

When to Enable vs. Disable

Choosing whether to bypass confirmation depends on your experience level, market conditions, and trading . Here is a comparison of the two modes:

  • Enable when: you scalp or day-trade in liquid markets where entry speed is critical; you have pre-configured your quantity and ; you are comfortable with instant execution and monitor positions actively.
  • Disable when: you are practicing or paper trading; you trade sizes where a misclick could be costly; the market is highly volatile with erratic price swings; you frequently change position size between .
  • Consider a middle ground: leave confirmation on but reduce your interaction steps by using with confirmation. This keeps a review step while still being faster than manual order entry.

Best Practices

Experienced traders can use Trade Without Confirmation as a powerful tool for rapid execution. Follow these guidelines to minimise risk:

  • Pre-flight check — before enabling, run a few with confirmation on to verify your default quantity and are correct.
  • Use presets — if your platform supports trade presets or profiles, save configurations for different assets (e.g. BTC vs. ETH) to avoid manual reconfiguration.
  • Watch the spread — in illiquid markets, the bid-ask spread can be wide. Use Limit or keep confirmation on when spreads exceed your tolerance.
  • Bind a switch — know how to quickly all open orders. Most exchanges offer a "Cancel All" button or API endpoint.
  • hygiene — toggle confirmation off only for the of your active trading session and re-enable it afterward to prevent accidental orders.
!
Caution:With this setting enabled, clicking B or S instantly sends a market or . There is no "Are you sure?" step. Ensure your quantity and are correctly configured beforehand.
