Anti-Martingale family

Anti-Martingale modes

Family

Size shrinks as the ladder deepens. Capital protection first, recovery second.

The mechanism

Each level commits less than the last, so a sustained adverse trend is cheap to sit through — the deepest, most-wrong are also the smallest. The trade-off is : because there is little size down there, deep levels barely move the average entry, so recovery from a deep is slow.

Anti-Martingale curves against reference modes, same base lot.

Size shrinks deeper into — capital protection first.

The trade-off

Gain
Bounded, often converging capital. Extra depth is nearly free, so ladders can be very deep.
Cost
Weak averaging. A recovers proportionally less of the ladder.
Floor
The engine floors every rung at one lot, so past a certain depth the executed size flattens where the keeps falling.

Modes in Anti-Martingale

Cost is the size of a 10-level ladder, in base-lot units. ★ marks a practical pick.

Choosing within the family

  • protection — anti_marti_exponential: halves each level, total under 2× base.
  • Balanced — anti_marti_sqrt, anti_marti_half: meaningful size a few levels down.
  • Near- — anti_marti_logarithmic: barely decays; use when you want a slight bias only.
  • Tunable — anti_marti_geometric: dial the decay rate directly with r.
ℹ
Note:This is the family when you believe the trends. It converts "the grid keeps averaging into a decline" from a catastrophe into a rounding error.
