Stickers and emoji let you tag charts with recognizable symbols for quick visual communication. Use them to bullish or bearish sentiment, highlight notable events, or leave visual notes for your team. They render inline on the chart and scale with zoom level, remaining legible at any resolution.

Emoji picker

The emoji picker organizes symbols into categories for fast browsing: Faces (smileys, emotions), Arrows ( indicators), Symbols (checkmarks, crosses, warnings), Animals, Food, Activity, Travel, Objects, and Flags. Each category displays a grid of available emoji. A search bar at the top lets you find emoji by keyword (e.g., typing "rocket" finds the rocket emoji).

You can frequently used emoji as favorites. Favorites appear in a dedicated tab at the top of the picker for access. The picker remembers the last used emoji across sessions, restoring your selection when you reopen the picker.

Placement & anchoring

Select an emoji or sticker from the picker and click on the chart to place it. The marker is to the clicked price and time coordinates. It persists across reloads and sessions and can be dragged to a new position, deleted individually, or styled with adjustable size and . When you or out, the emoji scales proportionally with the chart.

Each emoji has a price and a time anchor. If you the emoji, you can move it freely in both dimensions. The anchor point is indicated by a dot when the emoji is selected, connecting the emoji to its exact chart coordinate.

Best practices

★
Pro tip:Use color-coded emoji for quick sentiment scanning. A green rocket for breakout , a red for reversals, a blue information symbol for notes. Consistent conventions help your team read charts faster and reduce ambiguity.
ℹ
Note:Emoji remain visible at all zoom levels but scale proportionally. If the chart is zoomed out significantly, emoji may cluster. Use the sticker spacing setting to prevent overlap and maintain readability.
★
Pro tip:Create a personal of favorite emoji for the markers you use most frequently — rocket (breakout), fire (hot market), snowflake (cold market), checkmark (confirmed), (invalidated). This the emoji tool into a personal notation system.
ℹ
Note:Emoji can be combined with other . Place an emoji near a breakout to the exact candle, or next to a Fib level to show your bias at that zone.

Common issues

!
Caution:Emoji may render differently across platforms (e.g., Apple vs Google vs Windows emoji sets). If you share charts with users on different platforms, test how your chosen emoji appear on each system.
ℹ
Note:The default emoji set includes commonly used symbols. If you need a specific emoji that is not available, check the search bar — the picker supports the full Unicode emoji standard.
ℹ
Note:Very emoji sizes may lose on high-resolution displays. Use medium or large sizes for charts that will be viewed on 4K monitors or projected in presentations.

Use cases

Emoji stickers are versatile annotation tools. Use them to earnings dates (calendar), news events (mega-phone), support/resistance breaks (checkmark ), trade entries (green arrow), exits (red square), and team communication (question mark for uncertain ). They serve as a universal visual language that transcends language barriers in international teams.

Emoji library management

The emoji picker supports custom management. You can create folders of favorite emoji, organized by use case — one folder for sentiment markers (bullish, bearish, ), one for event (earnings, economic , news), one for trade management (entry, target, stop). These folders appear as in the picker, alongside the default category tabs. Custom libraries are synced across devices when you are signed into your account.

Cross-platform rendering

Emoji rendering varies by operating system and browser. An emoji that looks like a rocket on macOS may appear differently on Windows or Linux, and differently again on iOS or Android devices. This is inherent to the Unicode emoji standard — each platform implements its own visual design for each emoji code . If precise visual consistency is (e.g., for branded content), consider using the chart's annotation tool or marker instead, which render identically across platforms.

Keyboard navigation

The emoji picker is fully keyboard navigable. Use Tab to enter the picker, arrow keys to move between emoji, Enter to select, and Esc to close. Once an emoji is selected, you can place it on the chart with a simple click. This keyboard-first workflow is significantly faster than mouse-based picking once you are familiar with the layout of your favorite emoji.

Scalability & performance

Emoji markers are lightweight . A chart can support hundreds of emoji markers without noticeable performance degradation. However, if you use very emoji sizes (extra-large preset) on dense charts, the rendering may introduce minor frame drops during scrolling and zooming. The sticker spacing setting helps manage this by preventing overlapping emoji from creating visual clutter that slows down the hit-testing system.
