Settings

The single most consequential setting: how much size each level commits as the ladder goes deeper.

What the mode controls

sets the base amount for one level. The decides what multiple of that base each level actually uses. Level 1 might be 1×, level 5 might be 5× (linear), 32× (exponential) or 0.4× () — from the same base.

Quick picks vs the full catalog

The tiles are the seven modes that cover most practical use. The More tile opens the full — all 27 engine modes, grouped by family, searchable, each with its formula, risk , capital profile and a diagram of its at your configured depth.

★
Pro tip:The is not just a picker. Every 's diagram is drawn with the same function the engine uses to size orders, so comparing two modes there tells you exactly what will happen on the exchange.

How the mode changes the rest of the step

  • Capital estimate — the minimum capital line uses the 's size, not the level count. Switching from to exponential at 10 levels multiplies the requirement by roughly 200×.
  • parameters — parametric modes expose their own dial (ratio, exponent, slope, step interval, size cap). Those fields appear only for the that uses them.
  • — the preview immediately redraws with the new per-rung sizes, notionals and running capital.
  • Order count — multi-order modes place several orders per level, which changes how many exits the carries.

Multi-order modes

level i opens i orders → i take-profit targetsL11 × base · 1 exitsL22 × base · 2 exitsL33 × base · 3 exitsL44 × base · 4 exits
Linear martingale: level i opens i base-sized orders, each with its own take-profit.

Only marti_grid and marti_grid_linear are multi-order. Instead of one larger order they place i base-sized orders at level i, so the level carriesi independent take-profit targets. A partial books partial profit rather than nothing, at the cost of more order slots and more exchange traffic.

Capital growth by family

Cumulative capital as the ladder deepens. Note the exponential curve leaving the plot.
Fixed / DCA fixed
Linear — total = base × levels. Fully predictable.
Capped
Grows, then flattens at the cap. Recovery benefit with a hard per-level ceiling.
Linear martingale
Triangular — base × n(n+1)/2. Ten levels cost 55× base.
Exponential martingale
Doubling — ten levels cost ~2046× base. Rarely survivable.
Anti-martingale / harmonic
Converging — deep levels add very little. Cheapest to carry, slowest to recover.
!
Caution:Multiplicative martingales are the account-killer. If you want fast recovery without unbounded exposure, use capped_martingale — it doubles until the cap, then holds.

Changing the mode later

The is editable from the terminal's Settings tab, but it is a structural change: a resting order cannot be amended into a different , so the engine cancels the resting ladder and re-places it at the new sizes. inventory and its exits are preserved.
