Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated
How subscriptions, cancellations and refunds work on QuaTick. The short version: try Pro free for 14 days, cancel any time with no lock-in, and contact support if something went wrong with a charge.
Try before you pay
The free tier is permanent and requires no payment details — one connected broker, the unified dashboard, the options chain viewer, 20 technical indicators and 200 QTK welcome credits.
Pro includes a 14-day free trial with full feature access and no credit card required to start. We would rather you established that the platform fits your workflow during the trial than paid first and asked for a refund later.
Cancelling a subscription
- You can cancel at any time from your account billing settings. There is no lock-in contract and no cancellation fee on self-serve plans.
- Cancellation stops future renewals. Your plan remains active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and then reverts to the free tier.
- Your account, strategies, watchlists and history are not deleted when you cancel — only paid features become unavailable.
- Running automated bots are stopped when a plan lapses to a tier that does not include automation. Close or hedge any open positions before that happens.
Upgrades and downgrades
- Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated against the unused portion of your current period.
- Downgrades take effect immediately, with the difference credited against your next invoice.
- Switching between monthly and annual billing is treated as a plan change and prorated the same way.
When we refund
Subscription fees are generally non-refundable once a billing period has started, because the service is delivered continuously and immediately. We do issue refunds in these situations:
- Duplicate or accidental charges — refunded in full.
- A billing error on our side — refunded in full.
- An unintended renewal you report within 7 days of the charge, where you have not materially used the paid features in that period — refunded in full.
- A sustained platform failure that prevented you from using the paid features you were charged for — refunded pro rata for the affected period.
What we do not refund
- Trading losses. QuaTick is software, not a broker or an adviser, and subscription fees are unrelated to the outcome of your trades. See the Risk Disclaimer.
- QTK credits already consumed by orders, automated runs or backtests.
- Periods where the paid features were available and used.
- Brokerage, exchange fees, statutory taxes or broker API charges — these are billed by your broker and only your broker can refund them.
- Third-party marketplace purchases, which are covered by the terms the publisher set.
QTK credits
QTK credits meter platform activity. They are not money, not a security and not a cryptocurrency, hold no cash value, and cannot be transferred or withdrawn. Monthly plan allowances reset each billing cycle and unused allowance does not carry over. Where credits were deducted because of a platform error, we restore them on request.
Enterprise agreements
Enterprise plans are governed by the specific agreement signed with your organisation, which takes precedence over this policy where the two differ. For anything relating to an Enterprise contract, contact enterprise@quatick.com.
How to request a refund
Email support@quatick.com from the address on the account, with the invoice or transaction reference and a short description of the issue. We respond within 3 business days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method, and the time it takes to appear depends on your bank or card issuer — typically 5 to 10 business days.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version, and the policy in force at the time of your charge is the one that applies to it.
